Ladyfingers (400g)

Ladyfingers are light, airy sponge biscuits that are shaped like fingers, typically used in desserts such as tiramisu and trifles. They are made from a mixture of flour, sugar, eggs, and sometimes a bit of cornstarch. The texture is soft but slightly crisp on the outside. Ladyfingers can absorb liquids without falling apart, making them ideal for layering in desserts. They’re also sometimes referred to as “savoiardi” in Italy, where they are most famously used in tiramisu.
